Community Groups

Each Community Group is made up of several households in a specific geographic area who come together every 1-2 weeks as a hospitality greenhouse, tending and cultivating the “embodied hospitality of Jesus” as a place of refuge in the chaos of life. This “hospitality” may start with inviting people into our home for a meal but, together over time, it grows into a lifestyle of relational generosity and self-giving for the sake of the people and places right in front of us - Christians and Neighbors alike. In short, these groups provide a primary place for ongoing community, prayer, and care for everyone who considers The Table their family.

“Hospitality means primarily the creation of free space where the stranger can enter and become a friend instead of an enemy. Hospitality is not to change people, but to offer them space where change can take place. It is not to bring men and women over to our side, but to offer freedom not disturbed by dividing lines.”
