Vision

Discipleship for the youngest among us is about more than education or learning (though it absolutely includes that!), it’s about becoming through belonging. In that way, the church isn’t like family, it is a family. And our approach to children’s ministry reflects this.

While Table Kids formally focuses on Sunday mornings, we want to be a church that disciples families (including children and teens) to enjoy God, love courageously, and cultivate beauty. It takes the whole church to accomplish this vision, and it takes shape in both formal and informal ways as children…

  • … watch their parents being discipled and discipling others.

  • … befriend other kids and adults from church throughout the week.

  • … see the Gospel lived out in intergenerational community, and get to know their pastors, elders, and other leaders.

  • … become confident in knowing that The Table does not see them as second-class citizens, but gives them a seat at the table (pun intended).

Table Kids

This page is under construction. Check back soon for more details about Table Kids!

While much of the work of discipling children happens organically Monday through Saturday, Table Kids is our Sunday morning children’s ministry that serves children and their families by…

  • … introducing them to Jesus and the Gospel.

  • … teaching them the Bible.

  • … building community and creating space for children to belong.

  • … preparing them for greater involvement in worship as they grow.

To do so, Teachers and Assistants lead children through a sequence of connecting, gathering, responding, and blessing through age appropriate activities across 3 classes:

  • Early Childhood: 1-2 years old

  • Preschool: 3-4 years old (not yet in Kindergarten)

  • ***Children’s Church: Kindergarten-2nd grade

Checkin begins at 9:50am for all classes so feel free to arrive early to get settled in! Early Childhood and Preschool classes are for the entirety of the service, but ***Children’s Church starts in worship and goes upstairs during the Passing of the Peace.

Children are not a burden, and are always welcome in the service (yes, even on bad days), and we have some activities available for elementary-aged children to make that easier for them!

Please let us know if we can do anything to accommodate your child’s needs or have any other questions!

Table Youth

We partner with Rocky Mountain Presbyterian Church (RMPC) for a joint youth group (6th-12th Grade) that meets weekly on Monday evenings from 6-8pm at RMPC. Dinner is provided!

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.

Impress them on your children.

Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.”
